I'm Vanessa and welcome to my blog. With so many options out there, I am so grateful you chose Enjoying The View.

I am an artist, photographer, and avid traveler. Road trips, camping, scenic byways, hidden destinations, hiking, you name it. If I haven't done it yet, its probably on my list. Shortcuts are fine, but I rather enjoy taking the long way on occasion.​

​

For some, wanderlust is just a word. But for me, it's a way of life. Cameras, maps, emergency kit and an overnight bag in tow. I love driving to new destinations just as much as snapping the perfect picture.  Windows down, sunroof open, playlist blasting, this is where I thrive.

Even from a young age, I never enjoyed sitting still for long. I was the child who liked roaming the yard barefoot, impromptu drives through the mountains, and doing just about anything that got grass or dirt stains on my clothes. Full disclosure, I often got paint on my clothes too. Thankfully, I have since become a dedicated user of aprons while painting. I still am, and will always be in love with the awesome beauty of nature. Perspective is everything, and I enjoy sharing mine with you. Travel. Eat. Relax and enjoy the music. A significant song will be attached to every post and will be free for you to listen to.
