It's still hot! When the humidity feels like it's choking you, there's no breeze to be felt and the sun is beaming. Here's what we like to drink at our house, and how to make it.

A Very Berry Lemonade
Please feel free to adjust portions to your liking.

lemon juice
fresh mint
xylitol or sugar
1 pitcher
spoon and measuring cup
dried hibiscus, tea bag or loose.
fine mesh strainer
hot water
1. In a measuring cup combine 1 cup of sugar, a teaspoon of lemon juice and 2/3's of your fresh raspberries. Muddle the fruit and sugar until all the fruit is fully smashed.
2. Tear up a few mint leaves and add them to the cup. Muddle those as well.
3. Transfer the contents to your pitcher.
4. Fill pitcher halfway with hot water
5. Muddle reaming fruit and mint together
6. Add to pitcher
7. Add hibiscus
8. Let it steep for a least 20 - 40 minutes. The longer the better
9. Remove the hibiscus, if its loose see the next step.
10. Using your strainer, pour off the lemonade into another pitcher or measuring cup. Be sure to capture all the fruit, mint and hibiscus bits.
