I would like to dedicate this post to my Mother. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, sacrificing, teaching me how to grow as well as maneuver in this world. If I become even a fraction of the woman you are, I would be lucky. I love you dearly, always and forever. So, Happy Mothers Day Mommy!

When it comes to planning dinners around holidays, our side of town tends to be quite hectic. Rather than navigate through the traffic, it is best to plan a family dinner outing the day before or after a nationally recognized holiday.

Located in the Roswell area, we went to 1920 Tavern for an early dinner on Saturday. And what a pleasant surprise it was. Finding parking can be a bit of a challenge, but thankfully there was pay to park lot within walking distance of the restaurant.

The restaurant was a bit of a tight squeeze, but I felt this was a good sign. As much of the outdoor, the front dining room and bar were pretty much full. Luckily though, we had a reservation, and the restaurant has an additional dining room for larger parties in the back.

Made from scratch, delicious, fresh and wild caught. The moans of tasty happiness were quite audible from the table. Great drinks, food, atmosphere, and people, truly made this dinner a special one. No farm raised fish here. My mother and father were quite happy with her Wild-caught seafood. The Chicken Alfredo was equally delicious. (Click through slideshow below to see more).

Forks down. Spoons up. Dinner was great, but we still had room for more.

The desserts were tasty, with portion sizes being more than enough to share.

I definitely recommend paying 1920 Tavern a visit. They offer a very expansive menu, with options for just about everyone. But, do make sure to call first. Otherwise, you may have to wait a bit longer.

Following dinner, we decided to visit a local gallery next door. The Vinings Gallery was a lovely, and full of creative and innovative pieces. The pieces made by Ken Rausch were my favorite, pictures of his work can be seen below. All in all, this was a great way to end a fantastic day!

So Visit. Laugh. Eat. & Enjoy.
